Sky Ranch Custom Camps

Through our custom camps program, our design team will take the content and goals of your program, or  project, and develop a camp/training delivery plan based on Sky Ranch’s Purposeful Play philosophy.  The team will   incorporate your desired learning and behavioral outcomes into a fun and engaging camp/training experience which will then be delivered by our highly skilled staff professionals.

Our Design Team

Todd Witt

Todd Witt, Director for School Programs,

has a bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry and holds two masters degrees (Aquatic Biology and Student Personnel Administration). He has won national awards from the NCAA and the National Organization of Student Assistant Programs and Partners for his student assistance programs. The U.S. Department of State has used his services to design, organize and deliver national conferences and trainings in Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, Italy, Jamaica, Canada, Peru, Columbia, and various locations in the U.S. He also developed the Go Center concept for the The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s College for Texans Campaign and delivered training to over 2500 students in 250 schools across Texas. The program was so successful, the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and the Fairmont State University GEAR UP program contracted with him to train students in West Virginia. Other organizations and agencies of note that have used his services include the Texas State Tobacco Education Program, Texas PALs, Drug Prevention Network of the Americas, Stephen F. Austin State University Department of Housing and Residence Life, Texas Education Agency Region 13 Educational Service Center, Texarkana College Talent Search and more.

Marquita Stottern

Marquita Stottern, School Programs Assistant Director,

is a certified Teacher with a certification in special education. She also holds a masters degree in Information Sytems and Learning Technology, with a minor in Special Education, and in addition holds a bachelors in Art and Business. She served as Regional Coordinator for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and worked with Mr. Witt  to design and deliver the Go Center training for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.  Over the past 10 years, she has been selected to conduct workshops through Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), Texas Education Agency Region 8 Service Center, East Texas Communities in Schools, and North East Texas GEAR UP, as well as various schools and organizations in the East Texas area. For 12 years she owned and ran an local and internet based retail business.  Marquita has developed multiple websites and data bases for various businesses and organizations, has been on several technology advisory boards/positions, has taught technology classes for Texas non-profit organizations, businesses, and Tyler Junior College and has won several design awards. She has worked with children in various forms for the past 25 years..

DESIGN PROCESS

Though our custom camps program our design team will take the content and goals of your program or project and develop a camp/training delivery plan based on Sky Ranch’s Purposeful Play philosophy. The team will incorporate your desired learning and behavioral outcomes into a fun and engaging camp/training experience. This training can then be delivered by our highly skilled staff of 20 professionals at one of our camp locations or on-site at your desired location.
